Hello Maria Teresa. I do not understand well what I want to say in your response. However Here you command a little more information about the Humanist Movement. We are people of different cultures and countries that are organised in order to implement major changes to move towards a Universal Human Nation. On May 4, 1969 in Argentina, Shiloh, founder of the Movement, gave his first public speech, on the one hand denounce the escalating violence and inviting, on the other hand, the human being to find faith in itself, in others and in life in general. In 80 years, the Humanist Movement creates several institutions to realize their ideas and continue its expansion. Today, the Movement is present in over 106 countries and has over 2,000,000 members. We denounce the current system in which human beings took place only one secundario. The technological breakthrough allows companies to make huge profits than ever are redeployed. Politicians who govern are due to big business and put in place economic measures that asphyxia human being. The social fabric is disintegrating. Individualism and the struggle for survival generate an alarming lack of solidarity and a loss of trust in others. The New Humanism represents the coherent alternative to this situation, because it works by and for humans. It is each of us who must take charge of the situation and give the company an address authentically humanist. Our central ideas are: * The value as human beings and central concern * The affirmation of the equality of all human beings * The recognition of the personal and cultural diversity * The development of knowledge beyond what is regarded today as truth * The assertion of absolute freedom of ideas and beliefs * The rejection of all forms of violence and discrimination The Humanist Movement is the practical expression of the ideal of humanizing the earth and heading towards a Universal Human Nation. It is the germ of a new culture in this planetary civilization that must change root, considering and valuing diversity and giving all human beings equal rights and equal opportunities, recognizing the dignity that each person deserves, for the simple fact have been born. The activities to develop are directly related to the basic needs of human beings: we are priorities for education, health and quality of life of people. But also give special emphasis on subjectivity, the existential concerns of human beings. In a subsequent letter you explain more as we develop these activities, and all questions you want to do are welcome. Dear friend:

My name is Luciano and I write you from Madrid. I am a member of the Humanist Movement and you write because people wanted to be considered and humanists who want to help us develop our movement in Argentina

First, comentarte that if you already know the ideas of the Humanist Movement, this message is not directed at you, is for people who do not yet know us
The Humanist Movement was born 37 years ago and is now in over 106 countries from 5 continents. It is not an NGO, nor a humanitarian association. The Humanist Movement is a social movement made up of volunteers, men and women of all ages, from different social strata, religions and cultures. Our joint project is to unite all humanists of land for the 21 st century is a century humanist.

I suppose you agree that today's world is experiencing a global crisis, which is undergoing an important transformation and serious imbalances across the globe. The non-meaning characterizes today's society, where man does not occupy more than a secondary place and suffer all kinds of violence, discrimination and injustice. We know that we can not count on the rulers to change this situation.

Therefore, we are organised with the aim of creating a society which considers the human being as a priority (and not the money or the profit), a society that affirms the equality of all human beings, freedom of ideas and beliefs, reject all forms of violence and discrimination.

The practice of these aspirations in our everyday life implies a lifestyle, a way of relating to others, which can be summarized in the following sentence: "treat others as you want to try." Therefore, we must act not only at the social level, but also produce changes on a personal level. This historic project of humanization of land can not be met without the contribution of people of all cultures. So if you share these values, we ask you to help us build a team humanist in your neighborhood, your city or your country. And if you do not know but other individuals or groups who are humanists, Ponna in touch with them.

I hope your response before you send more about our ideas and concrete activities. Do not forget to put all questions and doubts that need clarification.

My questions to you are:

1. What forms of violence look around you?
2. What does it mean for you "humanized and humanize your environment"?

We desire peace, strength and joy
